Adam is a member of Butler Snow’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group, where he regularly advises educational institutions and public-sector clients on complex finance, infrastructure, and economic development matters. His practice includes representing colleges, universities, school systems, and other governmental and nonprofit entities in public, private, and public-private financing transactions that support campus development, educational facilities, and community infrastructure projects.

Adam works with educational and governmental clients on financing strategies for capital improvements, housing initiatives, utilities, transportation systems, and other projects essential to institutional growth and long-term operational sustainability. He also advises clients on the formation and governance of governmental entities, election procedures related to public financing initiatives, legislative developments affecting public institutions, and the financing tools available to support education-driven community development.

In addition to transaction-specific representation, Adam provides strategic guidance to public and nonprofit institutions navigating regulatory and funding frameworks tied to economic development and public infrastructure investment. His work frequently involves collaboration among educational institutions, governmental bodies, and private partners to advance large-scale development initiatives.

Adam was named a Louisiana Super Lawyers® Rising Star in Education Law and Governmental Finance, is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and serves on the Council of Development Finance Agencies Louisiana Financing Roundtable Advisory Committee.

He earned his J.D. and M.P.A. from the University of North Carolina and his B.A. from Louisiana State University. Adam is admitted to the State Bar of North Carolina and previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert N. Hunter, Jr. of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
